When he’s not at work within the Finance Controlling team, you can pretty much bank on the fact that Tom Kane will be pursuing his hobby of building combat robots, in particular, the Kan-Opener.

Featuring Bosch Rexroth parts, this robot which has ‘more bite than a great white shark’ has appeared on the BBC series Robot Wars.

Tom has competed, and been victorious, in many ‘live’ competitions as well.
